Are British investors missing out on their share of a £5bn Swiss banks scandal?
Britain’s mega-rich are missing out on thousands of pounds worth of payouts as they are unaware of a scandal in Switzerland that could become “PPI on steroids”, a Swiss company has argued. Claims specialist Liti-Link believes as much as £5bn is owed by Swiss banks to British investors, who are running out of time to make a claim. Speaking days after the PPI deadline to make complaints, a spokesman said: “This is PPI on steroids for wealthy people. Tens of thousands of people are entitled to five or six-figure payouts that are currently going unclaimed.”
Retrocessions are secret commissions that Swiss banks owe their investors.
